What is it?
Fitness Boot Camp is an outdoor fitness program specifically designed to help you Lose Weight, Gain Muscle, Reduce your Body Fat, Get Results! Four weeks of fitness instruction, f nutritional counseling, & motivational training provided by Certified Personal Trainers. This unique experience meets 3 days per week, 1 hour per day for 4 weeks so you stay focused and meet your goals.
What will I get out of it?
Firmer butt and thighs! Flatter/tighter stomach! Increased strength and endurance! Body fat analysis to help you see progress. Personalized weight loss consultation, if you chose
Where is it?
Fitness Boot Camps are held in the cities of New Haven, and West Haven CT. Registrants will choose their preferred camp location.
Indoors - Sepetember to March

Outdoors - April to August
- Bowen Field 75 Crescent Street (New Haven, CT)

When is It?
Camps begin at various time and are held for one hour each session. Each camp will be held for 4 consecutive weeks From the day you start.
WOMEN CAMP - Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
MEN CAMP - Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays
Why Should I sign up?
You will make a dramatic improvement in your physical and mental well-being. In addition, you'll meet great people who share your same passion for acquiring a more healthy body and mind. You will be finished with your training before the rest of the world has even gotten started!
What if I'm not very physically fit?
NOBODY will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are capable of doing safely. Nor will ANYBODY go home UNCHALLENGED! Women of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate. Women of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate. Each week we will slightly increase in intensity and change the type of exercises that are done.
What types of exercises are included in the program?
Exercises include: speed walking, yoga, pilates, short distance running (less than one mile), calisthenics, jumping rope, hiking, ball training, push-ups, and more!
What is the cost (investment in myself)?
Each four-week boot camp has a registration fee of $199 That's twelve hours of instruction! Where else can you get premiere or cutting edge fitness instruction for that incredible price?
If you register for 3 Consecutive Months you save $100 and only pay $497.
Is there a refund policy?
Your Boot Camp is four consecutive weeks from the day you start. There are no refunds for Boot Camp once you start. This is non-negotiable. You will be allowed to make up ONLY 2 missed days in another boot camp so you want to make it a point to set your alarm clock and show up. There is no cash refund. This is not negotiable.
Do I need to bring anything special?
Each participant must bring an exercise mat and a pair of 8 or 10 lb dumbbells (10lb-15lb for guys). Always bring a bottle of drinking water. In addition, most days you’ll need only your body, dressed in exercise clothes and a good pair of running shoes or cross trainers. Because we will be getting on the ground for various exercises a pair of light exercise pants or knee length shorts and a T-shirt is recommended.
What if I miss a day?
You miss a day. You will be given two "oops" coupons that can be used to make up days missed within 14 days of he end of boot camp.
Will you offer supplemental workouts?
Additional personal training sessions can be arranged for an additional cost by speaking to the lead instructor.
What if I am the “slowest/out-of-shapest/clumsiest” person?
Bootcamp is a team event as much as an individual one. I encourage you to do the best that you can do on any given day. Each workout is different than the one before it; where you excel, others might lag, and vice versa. Use this time to learn through observation and risk; and to teach by example. Almost all the exercises can be modified to various fitness levels and abilities. If you need a modification yell out
What other events are included or offered?
On occasion, there will be special events hosted by BALANCE fitness. These will be educational or community related events which will allow you to learn about health and fitness, contribute to the community, and socialize with other members of the boot camp outside of our daily workout sessions.
Why doesn't Mubarakah teach my boot camp?
Unfortunately, Mubarakah hasn't quite figured out how to clone herself (or make it legal to do so), however she has done the next best thing. Trained some awesome well qualified personal trainers to teach Boot Camp using her unique fitness formula.
